Dark Forests
A large stretch of spruce and pine trees interlaced with half-dead trees and rotting stumps. Beneath a warrior's paws the ground slopes gently downwards in some places, creating small hills. The rich brown earth is covered with clovers, the rocks smothered in moss and the trunks of the trees draped in ivy. Prey is rich and almost leaping into a hunter's paws. It can get extremely dark here even during the day, especially if there's a storm on the horizon. |

Two-leg nest
Usable only in Green-leaf by the Twolegs this place is silent for the rest of the four seasons. When the weather starts getting hot however it is abuzz with the furless ones, who go down the dirt paths leading from their den to the lake with their kits and dogs. Sometimes a Twoleg leaves behind their kittypets here, probably thinking they can survive in the forest. Well, ShadowClan will teach them otherwise... |

Frog Pond
A tiny pond close to the two-leg dens with filmy water and green gunk covering it's surface. ShadowClan cats love this spot because it's an excellent place to catch one of their favorite foods- frogs. The slimy green creatures spawn here all the time, meaning there are plenty of eggs and tadpoles as well as adults hanging around under the water or on the slippery rocks. |

Bone Pools
Deep in the wettest part of the marsh large pools of swamp like water have dragged many a creature to their doom. It is said if you gaze into the bubbling pools long enough you may see their ghosts. Bones can be seen on the bottoms of these pools but the water is deceptively shallow and there is a strange sucking current that drags weak creatures downward. The mud that surrounds this place and the in general wetness assures frogs toads and voles can be found here. |

The Graveyard
An old grown over cemetery. Sunken into the ground, reclaimed by the earth with ivy and moss, the tombstones are remnants of a small family. It is rumored the bodies of deceased Shadowclanners are laid to rest...But no one knows the truth as Shadowclan burials are extremely secretive. Around twelve headstones of varying shapes and sizes litter the ground. More often then not this place is shrouded in fog. It is an eerie place, one wouldn't want to be out in the graveyard at night. Despite the scare factor it is a great place for hunting owls and rats. |

Shadow Vale
A large moss covered dip between two dark wooded hills near the Shadowclan camp creates a perfect place for battle training. The morning and afternoon cast shadows from one side of the hill to cast the mi nature valley into darkness. The rest of the day the shadows are cast from the opposite ridge making it a perfect spot for practicing in relative darkness which Shadowclan cats tend to prefer. |

Nightshade clearing
Near to the Frog Pong a large,surprisingly green patch of forest lights the gloom. Much more full of light and vibrant looking then the rest of the swampy Shadowclan territory this little place draws you in to kill you. See those bushes that line the clearing, that's nightshade with a few small deathberry bushes mixed in as well. Is that dark green plant borage or the toxic bleeding heart plant? Are those bright little flowers comfrey or foxglove? A place of healing and of death there seems to be more poisonous herbs gathered here then ones for healing. Watch your step or you'll trod in the poison ivy. Enter at your own risk you might just find that the brightest patch of land in Shadowclan is the most dangerous. |
